These Terms of Use explain how you may use this website and the resources it contains. By using the site, you’re agreeing to these terms, so please read them alongside the Privacy Notice, Cookie Policy and Using the Materials page.
“Site”, “I” and “me” here refer to Gary Hopkins and this website.
1. Purpose of this site
This site exists to share worship resources, theology, music and related materials to support inclusive, justice-shaped faith in a range of settings. Everything is offered in good faith, for worship, reflection, learning and inspiration.
The content is not legal, financial, medical or professional advice. Please use your own judgement, and any relevant guidance from your church, organisation or profession, when using the material.
2. Copyright and using the materials
Unless otherwise stated, all content on this site is © Gary Hopkins and remains in copyright.
I’m glad when these resources are useful, and I want you to be able to use them freely in worship and other non-commercial settings. Please see the Using These Resources page for clear guidance on:
- What you may use free of charge
- How to credit material correctly
- How to report hymns and songs to CCLI
- When you need to contact me for permission, especially for anything paid or commercial
By using the site, you agree not to claim my work as your own, republish it elsewhere in full, or use it in commercial projects without permission.
3. Accuracy and changes
I try to keep the information on this site accurate, up to date and useful. However:
- I can’t guarantee that everything will always be complete, current or error-free
- I may change, update or remove content at any time without notice
- Liturgical, theological and pastoral material will always involve judgement and interpretation – you remain responsible for how you use it in your own context

5. A personal project – views my own
While my work is rooted in various church and organisational contexts, this website is a personal project.
All reflections, resources and opinions shared here are my own and do not represent the official position of any current or past employer, denomination or organisation I work for or with.
You should not treat anything on this site as an official statement from any church body, institution or organisation.
6. Your responsibility
You agree to use this site in a way that is lawful, respectful and consistent with these Terms of Use. In particular, you agree:
- Not to misuse the site (for example, by trying to hack it, interfere with its functioning or post harmful content)
