Prayer of Adoration and Confession
Glorious God, One yet Three,
reveal to us your presence,
as Holy Parent, Holy Christ and Holy Spirit,
One God, creating, redeeming, sustaining,
One God, yet Three.
God of the universe,
draw near to us, be present beside us and dwell within us.
Prepare our hearts for worship as we make time to focus on you.
Speak to us in the silence that we may glimpse your glory.
Gracious God,
for the mistakes we have made this week, forgive us.
In the silence, we receive your forgiveness with grateful hearts.
Amen.

Prayer of Intercessions
Mysterious God,
unobtainable, incomprehensible, unfathomable,
yet closer to us than any other.
Take our questions and our doubts
use them to grow our faith in you,
so we may reflect your love and glory in the world.
Holy Parent, Holy Christ, Holy Spirit,
reach out to those in need a this time,
those who are ill, lonely, bereaved, anxious…
Use us as your hands to reach out in love.
Creator, Redeemer, Sustainer
be with those who are working hard to help others,
those who tend, care, nurture, deliver, heal, support…
Use us as your hands to reach out in love.
Maker, Word, Spirit,
guide your church so we may truly be your disciples on earth,
help us minister, preach, teach, lead, enable, serve, love…
Use us as yours hand to reach out in love.
Father, Son, Holy Spirit,
rebuke those who selfishly put themselves first and oppress others,
those with power who control, manipulate, lie, hurt, destroy…
Use us as your hands to reach out in love.
Mothering God, Mothering Christ, Mothering Spirit,
embrace us in the wonder of your love,
be near us, beside us and within us,
our Source, Saviour and Guide.
Amen.

Prayer: Trinity of Love
O Trinity of Love,
Three-in-One,
Maker, Word and Spirit,
before us, with us and behind us,
above us, in us and around us,
Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer,
eternal, yet ever present,
embrace us with the fullness of your love,
heal us through times of challenge and hurt,
forgive us for fear that drives our selfishness,
and fill our hearts so we may love others beyond measure.
Through you, in you, and for you, O God, we pray.
Amen.
